Listserve access for members only

Peer-to-peer communication
The NJSOP Listserv is a peer-to-peer communication tool available to NJSOP members. Participation in this NJSOP listserv is a member privilege and the NJSOP retains the right to restrict or deny access to a member who violates the rules and terms of use, at any time. The listserv terms of use are updated and approved by the NJSOP Board of Directors as needed.  March 2025 - Current Listserv Terms of Use

Pause Before Posting
If you’re uncertain whether your post may violate the rules or be inappropriate, please reach out for clarification before posting.

Quick Tips

Do not use the NJSOP listserv for illegal purposes, including but not limited to violation of antitrust or unfair competition laws.

The listserv is not for communications whose primary purpose is to advance the business or financial interests of any person or entity. (There are four (4) allowable brief announcements related to classifications, publications, NJSOP/AOA/Local events, non-CE outside events).

Refrain from using this platform to share negative commentary on individuals, referrals, business relations, or industry sponsorships.

Grievance Process
It is important that perceived issues within the listserv be addressed through the appropriate channels, rather than individual members directly communicating with the post publisher, either on the listserv or via direct communications.

If a NJSOP member believes that an e-mail has been sent that violates the Listserv Terms of Use the NJSOP member should contact the NJSOP Executive Director at kboertzel-smith@njsop.org. Review the full grievance process in terms of use.

If a member's post is found to possibly be in breach of listserv rule violation(s), there will be a TEMPORARY REVIEW PERIOD / DECISION-MAKING PROCESS at which time the NJSOP Executive Director or designee has the discretion to temporarily suspend, terminate and/or moderate all future posts by member prior to publishing on the listserv UNTIL final determination is made.
